Reasons for ink transfer after dry lamination of PET film

Because PET film has excellent barrier property and strong leakage resistance, it is difficult for solvent to penetrate, and the solvent suction of ink is poor. The bonding material (resin) of the plastic surface printing ink has a good affinity with PET film, so the firmness of printing on PET film is higher than that of plastic composite inner printing ink.

In fact, the ink layer transfer of the printed PET film after lamination has nothing to do with the use of surface printing ink. Instead, it is more likely to occur when the composite inner printing ink is used.

Two points should be paid attention to when printing and dry laminating PET film:

1. When compounding, the amount of glue applied must be small. The solvent of the compounding glue should be volatilized as much as possible when passing through the drying path (it is necessary to frequently check whether the exhaust system of the drying path is smooth, and the temperature of the compounding hot drum of the compounding machine should not be lower than 70 ℃).

2. Ink should be applied as little as possible, and the ink should be dry (dry) to prevent false drying of the ink (especially when using chlorinated polypropylene composite plastic ink for printing). If the printing speed of the printer can't be started, and the effect of the drying box is poor, the printed matter can be rewound once, and then blown or left for some time during rewinding. After the ink hardens, it can be recombined (when it is used after printing, it's better to rewind and blow, to avoid printing film adhesion).
