Antistatic PET film is mainly used for the protection of glass and plastic surfaces, that is, no residual glue, and the peeling voltage is controlled, so that the protective film will not produce large voltage breakdown when peeling.

This period is mainly divided into one-sided (with adhesive surface) antistatic and two-sided (with adhesive surface and reverse side) antistatic.

The anti-static principle of the adhesive surface is to add anti-static agent to the glue and apply glue after mixing to make it have anti-static effect.

There are two ways to antistatic the reverse side: one is to apply a layer of antistatic coating on the PET film, and the other is to add antistatic agent during PET production. The former coating method is easy to damage the coating during storage and transportation and weaken the antistatic effect. This is why the antistatic protective film has a shorter storage period than the ordinary protective film, and its advantage is low cost.

The latter method of adding antistatic agent has the disadvantage of high cost, but its relatively long storage period makes many users choose to use this protective film for shipment protection.
