PET film, namely polyethylene terephthalate film, is widely used in packaging and textile. The following is the academic explanation: pet is polyethylene terephthalate, the chemical formula of which is - OCH2-CH2OCOC6H4CO - English name: polyethylene terephthalate, referred to as PET, is a high polymer, which is produced by dehydration and condensation of ethylene terephthalate. Ethylene glycol terephthalate is obtained by esterification reaction between terephthalic acid and ethylene glycol. PET is a milky white or light yellow, highly crystalline polymer with a smooth and glossy surface. It has excellent physical and mechanical properties over a wide temperature range, with a long-term use temperature of up to 120 ℃. It has excellent electrical insulation, and even at high temperatures and frequencies, its electrical performance is still good. However, it has poor corona resistance, creep resistance, fatigue resistance, friction resistance, and dimensional stability.
